Description

Clara Louise Burnham's home on Jockey Hill on Bailey Island. It was torn down in WWII and the lumber used behind the library hall. House to the right was owned by Root Family. It's name was "Tekitise." Aunt "Mae" and Esther Root were not friends, and after Aunt Mae's death, Esther and her family engineered disposal of the house by putting a sign in the PO. saying "Free Building Materials." The house disappeared very quickly. Undated
