A B/W photographic view of the Capt. Paul Stover House built by Capt. Paul and Lydia Stover in 1843. The main part of the house was built by Capt. Paul and Lydia Stover in 1843 when their first child, Daniel, was 3 years old. The carpenter was Williard Bailey of Freeport. Theophilus Stover, a carpenter, built the ell in three installments.
