A B/W photographic view of a food can label for, "Casco Bay Lobster" packed by, "Marsh and Dennett". c 1860 Location: Potts Point, between Pinkham's store (1900's) and causeway on west side. A branch of William Underwood and Co. of Southwest Harbor, then a part of Tremont. The company had many branches along the coast. Bayview Cottage (Harold and Ruth Weeks house) was made from the timbers of the factory. The factory canned corn during the summer when the lobsters were shedding
