A black & white photograph of the fire at Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain's summer home, Domhegan, on Simpson's Point, Brunswick, ME. The size of the fire can be seen as it travels down the length of the house. Two men stand in front of the house. The photo is part of a collection of photographs of local fires, collected by former Brunswick Fireman Alfred LeTarte. Dated May 9, 1940.
