A B/W photograph of Dr. Elbridge Gerry Allen Stetson who was born 7 Dec 1876 in Brunswick, Maine. He received his M.D. from the Medical School of Maine at Bowdoin in 1898 and practiced in Brunswick. He served in the Army Medical Corps during World War I and with the medical department of the National Guard Reserve and the Army Reserve from 1909 to 1940. In 1948 he received a medal from the Maine Medical Association in recognition of his having practiced medicine for 50 years in the same community. He was the grandson of Joseph Stetson.
