Dr. Salustiano Fanduiz (1868 - 1941) graduated from the Maine Medical School at Bowdoin College in 1892. He remained in Brunswick where he maintained a practice for eleven years. He attended patients in Harpswell and was paid by the town to assist several of the poor residents. In 1903 he returned home to the Dominican Republic.
