A large, tightly-packed crowd gathered in the street for a street lighting ceremony on June 10, 1955. The sign in the upper left reads: "Town of Brunswick Public Parking * Park Carefully * Drive Carefully * Enjoy Brunswick" with a right-pointing arrow.
Two people are identified in the photo: William Pappy Labbe and Pamalee Elie Labbe. As of 2020 they are a married couple; it is unknown if they were married at the time of the photo, they are in the upper right of the photo. William is wearing a Brunswick High School football jacket (the football is just visible on his jacket) and he is facing the camera. She is standing to his left facing him.
