Edward H. Woodside was born at Bunganuc 21 Mar 1847, son of Capt. William and Catherine (Chase) Woodside. For more than 40 years he was proprietor of a livery and sales stable next to Brunswick, Maine's central fire station. He also served as a fire warden and was a member and officer of the former Kennebec Engine Company. After his retirement he was active in the management of Pine Grove Cemetery, of which he was a trustee. He died 01 May 1928 and is buried in Pine Grove Cemetery. Photo not dated.
