On the back of the photo it says " Wm. Ireland married Mary Elliot, daughter of Dr. Elliot who owned house on corner of Maine and Pleasant Street - he tended half the town through the 1917/18 flu epidemic. The younger girls may be Marilyn Ireland Cobb and her sister Priscilla." The picture was taken in front of Files Cottage on Mere Point and shows a group of older men sitting or standing around a table in the front yard of the cottage. Undated
