Arts and crafts have tremendous therapeutic benefits for soldiers and veterans. In this photo, a woman and sailor participate in the finger painting activity at the USO center in Brunswick, ME. The class leader, Helen Varney is seated to the left, watching them work. Arts and crafts activities are still organized by the USO today.
