"The GCA Unit is comprised of three trailers, all connected to each other. The three piece unit is mobile, and may be driven to any runway to accommodate the approaching aircraft. The three radar screens on the front trailer send and receive their own signals, which locate the plane. By use of the five radar scopes inside the trailer, the operators can guide the plane to 'touchdown' point on the runways." Three stamps appear on the back "U.S NAVAL AIR STATION BRUNSWICK, MAINE", "OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPH NOT TO BE USED FOR PUBLICATION UNLESS OFFICIALLY RELEASED", and "RELEASED IF PUBLISHED CREDIT MUST BE GIVEN AS FOLLOWS 'OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPH U.S. NAVY'.'"
