Black & white photograph of figurehead from the ship George R. Skolfield under command of Captain Sylvester Stover Dunning under after Spanish-American War. Ship was dismasted & used as barge until it foundered on New Jersey Shore in 1922. Figurehead is located in Mariner's Museum in Newport News, Virginia.
