The Brunswick Autumn and Halloween-themed window painting contest hosted by the Recreation Center has been a staple of downtown Brunswick, ME since the 1940s. Storefront windows are covered with autumnal and spooky scenes bringing the fall spirit to town and providing entertainment for those participating, as well as those who enjoy the masterpieces while they stroll downtown. Jordan Acres Elementary School student, Lauren Seymour, is pictured here bringing the season to life with her depiction of a skeleton laying on its side.
