A B/W photograph of the Titcomb-Stowe House, 63 Federal Street, Brunswick, ME. This is the house in which Harriet Beecher Stowe wrote her famous novel "Uncle Tom's Cabin." Stowe and her family rented the home for the two years they lived in Brunswick, 1850-1852. The house was built c. 1807. At the time this picture was taken, the Stowe House was maintained as an Inn and restaurant.
