Laura Thompson Stevens, Wife of Byron S. Stevens, born in Machias, ME -- 1848, died in Brunswick, ME -- 1920. Together they gave their property at 52 Harpswell Street to the Old Folks Home Association. Mrs. Stevens was interested in "Kings Daughters" and she was a Past President of "Maine Federation of Women Clubs". She went as a delegate to the convention in California
