Description

A sepia-toned photo of the home at 58 Jordan Avenue in approximately 1924-1925. The roof has been raised and the donor, Betty Courson Hyde at about age 4, can be seen sitting on the bench on the left which advertises "Roberts Shoe Store", which stood on Maine Street beside Drapeau's Pharmacy. At the time this photo was taken, the home was owned by Nathaniel Elmore Courson's son, Elmore Nathaniel Courson. At the time of accession the home was owned by the donor, Betty Courson Hyde, who was the daughter of Elberton Elmore Courson & Eleanor Elizabeth Brown Courson.
