Undated From the Brunswick Record: As the first event of the Bicentenary Celebration, the memorial to Spanish War veterans of Company K was unveiled Sunday afternoon at a well attended exercise near the First Parish Church. Robert E. Cobb and Irma Galloway, whose father had been killed the night before in an auto accident was not told of this death until after the ceremony. Many in the throng watching the ceremony were aware of the circumstances.
