Description

A sepia photograph of Shorey's Hat Shop,114 Maine Street, Brunswick. It opened August 1923. Caroline E Shorey was the proprietor. The block burned that this was in and later housed Jarvis Restaurant and then the First National Bank. In 1923 Hopkins Store was directly under this. 1923 Lilliam Powers worked for Miss Shorey from Fall 1918 to July 1929. She formerly had the shop downstairs.
