A sepia photograph of uprooted trees after a storm on June 14, 1892. A strong wind storm uprooted trees and damaged homes throughout Maine. Some towns recorded the storm as a "hurricane" while other recorded a "tornado." Longfellow house, 25 Federal Street, Brunswick, Maine is at left with trees leaning against it. Governor Dunlap house, 27 Federal Street, at right. Undated.
