Description

This is a pottery or ceramic cup and saucer. It has no design, but it does have a deep blue-violet glaze on the saucer and on the outside of the cup. The inside of the cup and where the original ceramic body shows on the saucer has become very mottled and stained. The glaze colour has been called "Rockingham Blue", but Rockingham usually made fine China. Circa: 1845
