This crude article (used for pulling off the long boots worn by men at that time) was fashioned with an axe used by the late Capt. John Manion, of Bathurst Township over 80 years ago (or about 1850)
This article is made out of wood that resembles driftwood. Wide at the front and tappers towards the rear, a wedge has been formed to place your foot and grip the boot as you pull it off. The bottom and back of the jack is thinned out so the jack will sit on an angle so your heel can fit under it.Dimensions
