Also in the photo: left to right: Henry Shaw, Flora; standing at the front door is Roderick Matheson Sr., plus there are two sisters, not certain which ones. Flora Madelina born: April 3, 1836, Perth. died: April 14, 1894, Perth. buried: Elmwood Cemetery. · Married Henry Dowsley Shaw (1833–86), a Perth merchant, on September 21, 1859; had eight children, four of whom died in infancy. · A silent partner in Shaw & Matheson general store with son Henry Montague and brother Charles, 1886–93. · “A woman of fine character and greatly esteemed by her friends.”
