A tin scoop. This artifact is notable because, except the handle, it is made from only one piece of tin. The scoop is "V" shaped, it has no bottom surface and must rest on its side. The sides have curved edges. The scoop is held together by the one connecting edge at the back which has been soldered. The top of the back projects out about 1 cm and then folds down half-way in the shape of a tapered flap. The handle has been soldered on and is circular. It is 1.75 cm wide and the edges have been folded over to create hands on both sides. It is in ecellent shape, but the tin has tarnished.Dimensions
