The thin flat hardwood paddle (spatula, peel) is handmade with a short slightly flared integral handle. The paddle portion measures 23.5 cm in length x 11 cm at the distal end and tapers slightly to 9.5 cm at the proximal end. The handle measures 10.5 cm in length and 3.5 cm in width tapering slightly to 3 cm towards the paddle. The distal end of the paddle is worn on one edge. The grain of the wood is short and the paddle is very smooth with a few grooves on its surface near the proximal and crossing the width. The wood is gold geige in colour.Dimensions
