Description

1a) The foot warmer is made in the shape of a jar with the top closed and opening in the side for pouring hot water in. It is beige crockery with black writing and design. Inscribed on the foot warmer in black dye is Doulton's Improved Foot Warmer encased in a banner with Lambeth pottery London underneath. The T. Eaton Drug Co. Limited Toronto is inscribed on the neck, and a pattern of joined leaves encircles the stopper opening. b) The stopper is also made of crockery to simulate a bottle twist cap. There is a rubber washer to stop leakage and Lambeth mark is pressed in the top of the stopper. (4)
