Description

Butter Plate: -round with a plain white boarder and gold rim -the centre is taken up with a transfer designs of the Tay Canal landscape at Perth Ontario. -Underneath are the words "On the Tay, Peth, Ont.") -The transfer is fresh and clear -The transfer is a view of the Town of Perth from the Tay Canal -Note the town hall in the centre of the background -The tour path is in the foreground at the right of the Tay Canal -The bridge is the Drumn and St. East Bridge Underside: -According to the British registry mark on the underside -The inner base has the following identifications -"THE FOLEY CHINA " -C 1892+
