Description

Bottle, Pottery: Pottery bottle, of the type used for ginger beer or beer during the late 19th and early 20th Century. Bottle tapers sightly outward from base to shoulder then narrows more sharply to tapered neck with heavy "glob top" beveled lip. Interior surface is a dark brown glaze. Exterior surface is grey-brown in colour and lightly pebbled in texture. Imprinted on shoulder are words "W. A. McLaren Baker Perth"- light blue over-glaze shows in area of this label.
