Rectangular dovetailed, wooden packing case, with black markings stamped on. Front: Established 1879- Mountain Dew Registered- Whiskey-Spalding & Stewart - Distillers Perth Manufactured from the best Barley malt, fully ripend in Wood and Bottled in bond under Goverment Supervision. The trademark is stensilled at the right front:

The box is quite weatheres with the top 3/4 missing. The top front wood has been damaged (probably when the nails were remeoved to take off the lid). The back of the case has a split running horizontally (12cm from top) for 28cm. There is a patch of dried black substance, (3cmx2cm) on the insottom.Dimensions
