The dessert plate is made of white porcelain and is in the shape of a shell. The plate has a gold border around the rim. On one side of the rim there is a handle/ledge that is part of the shell shape that has gold coloured lines/scrolls on it. The brim of the plate has a coloured pink band. The centre of the plate has a floral design - 2 pink and mauve flowers with a green stem and leaves, and thorns on the stem. There is a footring on the plate. Near the footring "Cretian Fagonia" is written in red (it is the name of the pattern). In the middle of the base is a banner with the word "DAVENPORT" inside it and an anchor beneath the banner.Made/Created
