A red, leather-bound pocket dictionary. The title reds; "Laird & Lee's Vest Pocket Webster Dictionary For Constant Use"
The letters are stamped into the leather and coloured gold. The texture on the cover of the book is a sunburst-like pattern which continues onto the back cover. Te inscription on the inside front cover reads; "W L McLaren, Perth, Ont 1903." This dictionary belonged to Senator Mclaren of Perth. The dictionary is organized by lettered tabs, as an address book is. On the back cover, there are some numbers in blue ink.
