Small typical mid nineteenth century, usually of the kind used in bedrooms as side tables. Constructed of pine and walnut with reddish varnish very sloppily appled at one point. It has one pine drawer with a walnut knob. The legs are rather slender and turned. The top is protected with a sheet of clear glass. The top of the table is quite loose. The old nails are in evidence, even on the top of the table in one corner. c. 1860
