Wool Winder

Description

The wool winder is composed entirely of wood, that is honey-coloured (probably it is maple). At the top of the winder are the spokes upon which the wool was wound. These spokes rotate on an axle, again made of a block of wood. This spindle-type artifact rests upon a five-sided base that is supported by three legs.
