Description

A white virtified butter patty with three green bands. The first band is 3 mm from the outside edge and is 3 mm wide. There is a space of 2 mm and then a second green band 1 mm wide. The third band is 1.5 cm from the second. The third band is intersected at the top by a stamp of a 1.5 cm circle with HICKS HOUSE PERTH encircling it and ONTARIO written underneath. The manufacturer's stamp on the base reads "Virtified Acme China: written across the top, then a crown in the centre, then "Wood + Sons England" at the bottom. It was produced exclusively for Hicks House between 1907-1910 (1)
