The plate is made of off-white stoneware. The rim of the plate is slightly scalloped. There are embossed scalloped lines around the rim (4 lines) and brink (3 lines) of the brim. Between the lines are 32 embossed flowers. On the centre of the plate there is a black transfer print of a woman and man outside who are surprised by a dog. On the bottom of the transfer it says "Discovered by Fidelio". There is a footring around the base. There is a black transfer print on the base that sats "PAUL & VIRGINIA, DISCOVERED BY FIDELIO". There is also an engraved manufacturer's mark in the shape of a shield with "STONE WARE J.T." engraved inside.Made/Created
