The saltcellars are made of silver (plate). They have 3 penny feet with shell knuckles. The bowl of the saltcellar is a rounded dish shape with engraved floral motif on the sides of the bowl. (On one side there is a spot to put a monogram, but no monogram was put on.) The rim has a ribbed band around its top and a v-shaped side. Engraved on the base of the bowl is "H", "E" (in pentagon cartouche with point facing downwards), "&", "C (and a circle with a line under it)" and "EP" in an oval cartouche on its side.Dimensions
