997.70.18.22-23Description
The dishes are made of white pottery with black transfer printing, they are oval in shape with sloped sides with 4 vertical ribs. The dishes have the Pagoda transfer pattern (see 997.70.18.1 for description) with the basket, flowers, and fruit to the left and the Pagoda to the right. The footring of the dishes are bladed with a flat base. Around the exterior rim is the same 2 triangular shaped bands as on the interior. On the base is there is no Pagoda mark. In the centre there is an impressed triangle and in black print "15". 997.70.18.23 also has a blue printed dot on the base near the footring.Made/Created
