Description

The stereographs consest of two normal taped black + white photographs 7.8 cm wide x 8 cm high, pasted side-by-side on a sheet of stiff cardboard, 17.9 x 8.9 cm. Artifact 996.39.1.1 and .2 are made of dark grey cardboard, the others are of light brown or buff. On the let side of each card is printed in black or brown scrypt type: Underwoood & Underwood, Publishes New York; London, Toronto- Canada; Ottawa- Kansas. On the right side of each card; printed in black or brown script type: Works and Sun Sevlpture Trade Mark Studios Arlington N.J Littleten N.H Wasington D.C. Below the right-hand photo is printed in black type, The description of the photo, and below that, the copyright date and name. There are no serial numbers on any of the cards. The backs ofmert cards have the translation of the English photo description, in 6 languages.
