This clear brown glass bottle was used for McLaren's Perth malt whiskey and bears the logo "John A. McLaren Perth Malt Whiskey, Perth Ontario", pressed into an oval on the front of the bottle. The McLaren whiskey factory was started in 1841 to at least 1878 and beyond. This bottle bears a circular depression on the bottom where the pontil mark was ground smooth, showing it was mould blown glass
