This flask shaped pale aquamarine glass bottle was used for John A. McLaren's Perth malt whiskey. The factory was started in 1841 and was still going strong in 1878. The name "John A. McLaren, Perth Malt Whiskey, Perth ONT" is impressed within a moulded oval on the front of the bottle. The glass has a few air bubbles and pleasant markings.
There is a glass stopper for this which fits but it is not the same texture or colour as the bottle and possibly came from another article.
