In 1999 the daughter of Jimmie Foxx, Nancy Canady Foxx, donated this mug to the Philadelphia Athletics Historical Society (PAHS). It remained the possession of the Society until 2015 when the society formally disbanded. At that time the PAHS continuance agreement went into effect which transferred ownership to the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame.
