Image taken from a glass plate negative of a parade on Market Street. To the right of the photograph is a flowered parade float with women sitting on the platform in white dresses. The float is being pulled by light colored horses with a man astride a dark horse to the front of the grouping. The parade, likely the Spring Festival, is passing three buildings. The building to the left has a sign reading "L.C. Schmeider, 707 and there are multiple spectators looking out of the windows of the building. The building in the middle is only one level and has a large painted sign on the front façade that reads "Moerlein Beer" with a flag hanging at center that reads "Ice Cold Beer". The building has an awning at its left that advertises "3 for 5 cherroots". The building on the far right is a Romanesque-style masonry building with a stone sign saying "Third National Bank".Collection
