A black and white photograph developed on postcard with the front showing a photograph of a soldier riding a horse caught in mid-jump over an obstacle at Camp Greenleaf in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia. The image shows a dark horse on a water jump with a trough of reeds or grasses. The photograph is marked "140 Ft. Oglethorpe, G.A." at bottom. The note on the verso reads "Had horse back | exercises this | morning - [?] other | one now but | it is great. enjoyed | your note very | much Write soon to you old [?ead]"
