A color photograph of the Woodland Baptist Church located at 1512 South Holtzclaw Ave. The photograph shows the main sanctuary side and parking lot, likely shortly after the church moved out of the building. The church features a front-entry tower with a hexagonal roof with bell cast. A sign projecting from the tower reads "Woodland Baptist Church. Damage to the tower can be seen, possibly related to storm damage. A yellow car, identified as a late 1970s model Buick, is parked on the left, in the parking lot.
The congregation left this location in 1977 for Fort Oglethorpe. The building was left abandoned for a short time before the Senter School occupied the space.Photograph Details
