Black and white photograph of a parade float on Broad Street. The number 11 float is at center and has a a bench bracketed with wings at the front and a propeller plane is at the rear. They are both covered in tissue or flowers, as is the entire float. A woman is sitting on the bench in front is wearing a white dress and is holding an American flag. There is a woman sitting in the pilot's seat of the "plane" with another woman standing beside it. The float is in the middle of the 800 block of Broad Street. Retail establishments lining the road include McIasaac's Corner, the Shoe Renewry, Cantilever Shoes, and Fuller-Reeves & Ware. Fuller-Reeves & Ware is decorated with patriotic swag with a "Welcome" sign in the middle. Spectators line the streets to watch the parade.
