Notes

The rail line running in the foreground of the slide is the track connecting the Southern Rwy. (SOU) Shipp's Yard, at the end of Shipp St., the Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis (NC&StL) Cravens Yard, between Chattanooga Creek and I-24 and the Tennessee, Alabama & Georgia (TAG) in Alton Park. It allowed for transfer of in/outbound material from US Pipe and Wheland Foundries, as well other industries. This crossing has been here since before 1885.
