A group of men and boys are on the banks of the river watching as the gangplank is being lowered. A smaller boat is to the right of the steamer and what appears to be a flooded house is in the background. The steamer is likely being used for the 15 September 1913 GAR Encampment, as it was a venue for a breakfast event during the reunion. The photograph is marked "Stokes" and numbered 5. A black and white photograph mounted on linen fabric showing two train engines following the staged train wreck for the 1913 G.A.R. Reunion. The photograph shows a head-on crash at Warner Park that was staged by the Bathman & Brummett Rail Road Head on Collision Company. The smokebox of the engine on the right is collapsed and the cab of the engine on the left has been impaled by the tender. The name of the company is painted in white on the coal cars of both locomotives. Four men, two of whom are wearing coveralls, are standing in front of the crushed engines. The two men on the ends are wearing the star shaped medals of the G.A.R. reunion.Creator

Black and white photograph mounted on linen fabric showing a two young girls (Anne Gavit & Jane Brady) wearing fur hats and fur-lined coats, holding the pole that is connected to a switch that would start transferring power from the Hales Bar Dam to Chattanooga. A man (possibly Paul Kreusi who organized the event or Jo Conn Guild who managed the dam) stands beside them with a group of men standing in the background. Two of the men in the background are identified as Anthony Brady (with the mustache) who financed a large portion of the project and Governor Bill Hooper (to his left between two men). The girls are the nieces of Brady. The event was held 13 November 1913.
