Description

An orange colored membership card for the Joe Engle Knot-Hole Gang with a small black and white photograph of Gordon Hixson. The card, which allowed access to the holder to Engel Stadium for Chattanooga Lookouts home games during the regular season as well as University of Chattanooga football games. The card, which was sponsored by the YMCA is from 1941 when Hixson attended the Normal Park Elementary School.

The envelope is postmarked 4 October 1949, Chattanooga, Tennessee and has two 3 cent Thomas Jefferson purple stamps.

SEE REVERSE SIDE" on the right. The verso, left blank, contains a section for recording the holder's war bond records and "American Trust and Banking Company, Chattanooga, Tennessee" is on the bottom, center.
