Description

Several Postcard featuring a photograph of Summertown Road on Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. Several marker signs can be seen on the roadside to mark the different positions and troop movements of the Union and Confederate Armies during the Civil War. Three hikers can be seen in the background. A directional sign is at left with a hand pointing toward Summertown Road and reads "To Summertown Road | Line of Confederate | Withdrawal". At bottom right, the photo is marked "Photo | Elmer" A handwritten note on the verso reads "Sign exercises | on Lookout Mt." at center.
