Black and white photograph of a woman in a summer uniform. She is standing on a dirt road with a grass field behind her. The two sleeve stripes on her shoulder indicate a corporal rank. "Mildred Jacuzzo" is written in blue ink on the photos front, left and is written on the rear with a portion of the last name cut off. The rear is also stamped in black ink "Shannon's Studio, 726 1/2 , Jul 21 1943, Market St, Chattanooga, Tenn." It should be noted that this photo is dated a few weeks after the passing of the Public Law 78-110 that granted the WAAC full military status as renamed WAC.Photograph Details
