Linen postcard showing the Interstate Lodge hotel with Lookout Mountain in the background. The postcard shows seven cabin-style rooms with a smaller office alongside of the highway. The postcard has a cream-color border that reads "ONTERSTATE LODGE West of Chattanooga Tenn., on U.S. 41, 64, and 72; 2 1/2 Miles West of Lookout Mountain" at the top of the card and "Each Room with Innerspring Mattresses - Hardwood Floors - Tile Showers - Free Garage, Cafe," The postcard also features the AAA and United Motor Courts logos in each bottom corner. The information on the verso reads "Sleep in Safety and Confort without | Extravagance. All Strictly Modern Heated | Cottages. Pure Tested Mountain Spring Water | Popular Priced Cafe. Playground for Children. | Owned and Operated by | Mr. and Mrs. Ralph G. King, Route 4." with "PHONE 3-9277" stamped in black at the top.
